Life is rarely straightforward. Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, not good enough or really down? Are you struggling to work out what is bothering you? Or are you not sure where to start? Seeking help can be daunting, but you do not have to cope alone. Whatever your reasons I can help.
I am warm, calm and compassionate. Clients have told me I am easy to trust and feel comfortable sharing things they have never told people before.
I can offer you a confidential, safe place where you will be accepted as you are, to explore the issues you are facing, and find a way forward. Drawing from my experience we can find out what works best for you. I believe everyone has the ability to change and reach their full potential. You are the expert in your own life and we can work together at your pace, to find a way forward.
I work one to one with adults aged 18 and over, offering short- and long-term therapy. I have experience in working with people with a whole range of issues such as anxiety, low mood, worry, depression, confidence and self-esteem issues, bullying, panic, grief, loss, (including loss through a health diagnosis) trauma, parenting issues, marital issues, isolation and self-sabotage.
I am a fully qualified, experienced Psychotherapist/Counsellor, with an MA in Psychotherapy and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I am guided by the BACP ethical framework which underpins all my work with my client’s wellbeing being at the centre. I also receive regular clinical supervision.
