I studied Traditional Acupuncture at Leeds Metropolitan University and graduated with a BSc Hons in 2014. I went into this as I was fascinated by acupuncture and wanted to help people. I have previously had clinics at Neal’s Yard Remedies and Global Tribe in Leeds, but I'm excited to now be joining Align. 

Acupuncture is really versatile. It involves the insertion of fine needles at specific points on the body to stimulate the flow of Qi (energy) and clear blockages which can cause imbalance and lead to disease. It is used to treat a wide range of mental and physical conditions and can work alongside conventional medicine. I qualified in Indian head massage under Kush Kumar at Bradford college. This is a wonderfully relaxing treatment which takes place sitting in a chair fully clothed. It helps to relieve tension and invokes a deep feeling of calm.

While I had my clinic in Neal’s Yard I decided to undertake a qualification in their holistic facial treatment. This incorporates massage as well as a facial cleanse, scrub and mask, and leaves you feeling relaxed, glowing and smelling wonderful.
