Women's health has always been at the heart of my career.
As a specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, I have spent years supporting women through some of life's biggest transitions, from pregnancy and post-natal recovery to menopause and beyond. I feel incredibly privileged to help women regain confidence in their bodies and improve their quality of life.
I graduated with an Integrated Masters Degree in Physiotherapy, Exercise and Sports Medicine and have worked extensively within both the NHS and private practice. As a Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, I have developed specialist expertise in treating pelvic floor dysfunction, including bladder and bowel symptoms, prolapse, pregnancy-related symptoms, post-natal recovery, and pelvic pain.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continually developing my knowledge and skills through post-graduate training, specialist courses, and ongoing professional development. Women's health is a constantly evolving field, and I am passionate about ensuring the care I provide is always grounded in the latest evidence and best practice.
While I have always been passionate about women's health, becoming a mum myself gave me an even deeper appreciation of the physical and emotional changes women experience during the post-natal period. After welcoming my little boy, who is now two, I experienced first-hand the challenges of recovery, balancing your own wellbeing with caring for a young child, and navigating a body that can feel very different from before. It fuelled an even stronger passion for helping women access the support, education, and care they deserve during this important stage of life.
What I love most about pelvic health is the difference it can make to a woman's everyday life. Many women live with symptoms for years before seeking help, often believing they are something they simply have to put up with. Helping women understand their bodies, overcome these challenges, and return to the activities they enjoy is the reason I do what I do.
My approach is always centred around listening, understanding your concerns, and creating a treatment plan that feels right for you. Whether you're seeking support during pregnancy, after having a baby, through menopause, or for any pelvic health concern, you can expect a warm, supportive, and judgement-free experience.
I look forward to helping you get to know your body again, understand what it's telling you, and feel confident in supporting it through every stage of life.
